Ice Cream Social July 18th |
| The Village United Methodist Church, 200 Carmona, will
hold it's annual Ice Cream Social on Friday July 18th.
$3 tickets include ice cream, dessert and drink. Times
are noon till 2 pm and 4:30 till 7:30. |

| From July 10th until Aug. 29th you
can recycle your old phone books at the recycling center on Cloaco Lane,
the POA admin. building or you can put them out with your recycling for
pick up. (Put the books on top of the other recyclables.) |

Over 3700 Texans own property in the Village.
There were 27 deer-auto accidents in the
Village in 2006. This is the second highest ever. Like catfish? Arkansas is the third
largest producer of catfish behind Mississippi and Alabama. In
2005, Arkansas produced over 104 million pounds of catfish for
consumption.
Arkansas is the second largest producer of
cotton in the US (Texas is number one). Also, did you know
that each bale of cotton weighs 480 pounds. Arkansas will
produce about 2.6 million bales this year. Wow, that's a lot of
T-shirts. We have an average of 73 days each year
over 90 degrees.
